Tee @ RAWSISTAZ Literary Group3.0 out of 5 starsIs blood thicker than water? - (RAW Rating: 2.5)Reviewed in the United States on October 18, 2009The back covers says RAYS RIGHT is a tale full of action, lust, and love; and to that point I agree. Raymond is the patriarch in a family where illegal crime sets the stage. Raymond's family consists of three sons and two daughters. The eldest son, Mario, is the only one committed to the family business. As Mario is taking over the reins, he has a run-in with a ruthless rival. From there the story becomes embroiled in hits, double-crosses, paybacks and death.Adding to the family drama is Mario's siblings, all of whom are struggling for a life of their own; something outside of the family business. His oldest sister has been inspired by a magazine article to secretly become a stripper. One brother is an artist who desires to be a great business man, and to use as little of his father's influence as possible. The second brother is content living off his father's money and sexing the next guy's wife. His youngest sister has claimed her independence not wanting anything to do with her family's heritage. When the siblings found mates, I felt the story would solidify their characters, and the plot would become the main focus. Instead, it was an explosive beginning for sex-filled days, unusual commitments, uninhibited actions, and unbridled lust. All of which dragged the siblings in the middle of the family business.RAYS RIGHT has the premise of a page-turning, action-packed, suspense, but somehow, as the drama unfolded, the storyline went a little off-center and the main plot was lost in the parade of characters, and the many pretentious liaisons. More stringent editing would have been a good addition. RAY's RIGHT will take readers to the edge, but the ending does not leave an impact.Reviewed by aNNof The RAWSISTAZ Reviewers
